NEW!!! - Elite Training

Warriors Basketball Academy is excited to announce our newest and most advanced level of training at the Warriors Basketball Facility in Oakland.  Elite Training is now available for experienced players looking to further develop physical and mental capabilities.  Our trainers will lead purposeful weekly workouts geared towards directly impacting each player's unique game, approach to the sport and overall skill set.

Dates:

  • Girls: (Thursdays) April 4, 11, 18, & 25
  • Boys: (Wednesdays) April 3, 10, 17 & 24
  • 90 minute workout per session

Ages: 

  • Grades 6-12

FILM BREAKDOWN

Each session will include a 15 minute film session aiming to heighten the mental aspect of each player's skillset.  Trainers will lead in-depth analysis of each week's curriculum which will translate to the on court workout.

OPEN COURT

Each session will consist of 35 minutes of instructional drills formed to improve either ball handling, shooting, footwork or defense.

COMPETITION

Players will have the opportunity to challenge each other using their newly learned skills in a competitive setting.

PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Each session will end with 15 minutes of performance exercises, focusing on plyometrics, strength training, injury prevention and recovery.  These workouts are intended to increase each player's power, agility and flexibility.

Sample Schedule:

  • 1.5 hours of training:
    • 15 minutes - film breakdown
    • 10 minutes - warm-ups
    • 35 minutes - open court
    • 15 minutes - competition
    • 15 minutes - performance training
