WARRIORS BASKETBALL CAMP, POWERED BY RAKUTEN, WILL BE OFFERING TWO SPECIAL OVERNIGHT SESSIONS FOR BOYS AND GIRLS, AGES 9-16, AT THE WARRIORS BASKETBALL FACILITY IN OAKLAND. THESE FOUR-DAY/THREE-NIGHT EXPERIENCES WILL GIVE CAMPERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK ON THEIR GAME, IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS AND COMPETE AT THE LEGENDARY FORMER PRACTICE FACILITY OF THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS.

CAMP OVERVIEW

  • ELIGIBILITY: THESE SESSIONS ARE FOR BOYS AND GIRLS, AGES 9-16, OF ALL SKILL LEVELS AND ABILITIES.  THESE CAMPS ARE EXTREMELY LIMITED AND ARE EXPECTED TO SELL OUT QUICKLY.
  • INSTRUCTION: THESE SESSIONS WILL BE LED BY THE WARRIORS BASKETBALL ACADEMY STAFF.
  • FEATURED GUESTS: GSW LEGENDS PAST AND PRESENT ARE ANTICIPATED TO MAKE GUEST APPEARANCES (MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
  • AUTOGRAPHS AND PHOTOS: DESIGNATED TIMES FOR AUTOGRAPH AND PHOTO SESSIONS WITH OUR SPECIAL GUESTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED.

LOCATION

  • LOCATION: ALL ACTIVITIES WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE WARRIORS BASKETBALL FACILITY IN OAKLAND.
  • ACCOMMODATIONS: OVERNIGHT CAMPERS WILL STAY IN THE DOWNTOWN OAKLAND MARRIOTT. FOR THOSE THAT CHOOSE THE EXTENDED DAY OPTION, DAILY TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM MUST BE PROVIDED.
  • CHECK-IN: OVERNIGHT CHECK-IN WILL START AT 1:00PM ON DAY ONE OF CAMP.  EXTENDED DAY CHECK-IN WILL BEGIN AT 2:00PM.  EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS MUST ARRIVE AT THE FACILITY BETWEEN 8:30-9:00AM (DAY 2-4).  PARENTS MUST PICK UP EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS FROM THE FACILITY AT 8:45PM (DAY 1-3)
  • HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS: WILL BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON APPLICABLE LAW INCLUDING ANY LOCAL HEALTH ORDERS. TESTING AND VACCINATION INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED PRIOR TO THE START OF THE SESSION.

CAMP DETAILS

  • CAMP STAFF: CAMP STAFF IS MADE UP OF CURRENT AND FORMER COLLEGIATE PLAYERS, AS WELL AS, HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE COACHES.
  • MEALS: ALL CAMPERS WILL HAVE DINNER PROVIDED FOR THEM ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP. OVERNIGHT CAMPERS WILL BE PROVIDED THREE MEALS A DAY ON DAYS 2 & 3 ALONG WITH BREAKFAST AND LUNCH ON DAY 4 . EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH LUNCH AND DINNER ON DAYS 2 & 3 AND LUNCH ON DAY 4.
  • DIETARY NEEDS/FOOD ALLERGIES: PLEASE INDICATE ANY FOOD ALLERGIES OR SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS DURING REGISTRATION.
  • AWARDS CEREMONY: PARENTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO OUR AWARDS CEREMONY ON THE FINAL DAY OF CAMP.
  • VISITORS: OFFICIAL VISITING HOURS WILL BE LISTED IN THE CONFIRMATION PACKET.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: FOR CANCELLATIONS MADE ON OR BEFORE MAY 15 (FOR THE JUNE 29-JULY 2 SESSION) OR JUNE 12 (FOR THE AUGUST 2-5 SESSION) YOU WILL RECEIVE A REFUND OF AMOUNT PAID EXCEPT FOR A $250 CANCELLATION FEE.  FOR CANCELLATIONS MADE AFTER MAY 15 OR JUNE 12 (AS APPLICABLE), YOU WILL BE ASSESSED A $250 CANCELLATION FEE AND ALL AMOUNTS PAID WILL NOT BE REFUNDABLE (BUT WILL BE CONVERTED INTO A FUTURE CAMP CREDIT).
  • DISCIPLINE: ANY PARTICIPANTS NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CAMP WILL BE SUBJECT TO DISMISSAL WITHOUT REIMBURSEMENT.  RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL BE DETAILED ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP.

Frequently Asked Questions

Registration will open on Wednesday, April 17 at noon (12:00PM PST).

There is a $100 sibling discount per child when siblings are registered on the same application.  

Similar camps in the past have sold out very quickly.  To secure your spot, we recommend signing up as soon as registration opens.

Each player is anticipated to make 1-2 appearances over the course of the four days.  They will be hosting guest lectures, signing autographs, taking photos and interacting with the campers.  Appearances may be subject to change. 

The registration process will ask you for all of the following information.  We strongly suggest having this information prepared prior to the start of registration:

Registrant Information - Parent Name, Address, Email Address, Primary Phone Number

Participant Information - Camper Name, Gender, Birthdate, Jersey Size, Emergency Contact Name/Number, Medical Insurance Company/Policy Number, Medical Notes or Concerns

Overnight/Extended Day Information - Primary Care Physician Name/Number, Known Allergies (food/medication), Special Dietary Needs, Secondary Emergency Contact Name/Number
